SEAT is launching a car sharing pilot project with a fleet of electric Mii for the more than 1,000 employees of the SEAT Metropolis:Lab Barcelona and the Pier 01 Barcelona Tech City.

The Mii is a derivative of the Volkswagen up! and the eMii, unveiled in 2017, is a derivative of the Volkswagen e-up!

Tesla Supercharger Network Build Out Detailed By Musk – New Maps

Tesla just updated its global map of Supercharging stations, expanding it with new stations planned for installation.
There are currently some 1,229 Supercharger stations in the world, with 9,623 Superchargers stalls. Between January 1 and May 12 of 2018, Tesla added 121 new stations.

China’s Singulato Will Invest Billions Into Electric Vehicle Factory

Singulato Motors, another New Energy Vehicle start-up in the enormous Chinese market, hints at massive investments.

The company intends to invest 15 billion yuan ($2.4 billion) over the next five years. The plan includes two manufacturing sites – one in Suzhou for compact-size cars, and q second in Tongling for mid- and large-size cars.

Charged EVs | Nissan, Renault to buy EV batteries from CATL

Chinese battery maker Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd (CATL) will be providing batteries for Nissan’s Sylphy electric sedan, which is scheduled to hit the Chinese market in the latter half of the year. This marks the company’s first deal with a Japanese automaker.

The Sylphy, one of 20 electrified vehicles Nissan plans to release in China over the next five years, will be the company’s first EV produced there. It’s expected to offer a range of 338 km under the Chinese testing regimen.
