Bio: The following is a short bit about my life. I’ve written technical manuals, brochures, classroom training, Distance Learning programs, audio-visual programs, Video scripts, fictional short stories, restaurant reviews, restaurant owner interviews, outdoor hunting and hiking articles, How-To articles, new age religious articles, and a bicycling article promoting the use of helmets. I have traveled 49 of our 50 states, to every province in Canada, and several in Mexico. I’ve also spent a short time in Germany, France, Switzerland, and China. I grew up on a dairy farm, have a pilot’s license for Single Engine Land, and have been an over the road truck driver. In addition to being a master automotive mechanic since 1983, I have been a food judge for ribfest in Minnesota, a beer judge for the homebrewers of Michigan, and I love to ride two-wheelers. I’m equally comfortable pedaling my road bike 100 miles in one day or riding my motorcycle 500 miles per day. I’ve paddled an ocean-going kayak in three of the five Great Lakes and rode a Harley Davidson Sportster from Detroit to Dallas in two days. I also am the proud parent of three children and three step children, ranging in age from 23 to 40 years old.
